How time flies. This month you should begin to gather up to five of your best photos for submittal and jurying for our annual Hollingsworth Gallery Juried Exhibit. The show runs for the month of August this year and once again we have been able to secure a prime time for the exhibit.
Images can be submitted from Thursday, May 27 through Thursday, June 10. From that time a panel of 3 jurors will evaluate the photos and on June 30 everyone will be notified of which photos have been accepted for hanging at the gallery.
When submitting, use a subject line of “Hollingsworth exhibit” and name the photos “#of photo_First Name_Last Name”. Ex: 1_Don_Voltz. The only restrictions are that photos which have been exhibited previously at Hollingsworth are not allowed. (Critiques and Show & Tell photos are allowed)
Should you need some suggestions about improving your photo, we have mentors who can help you to tweak them.
Image submittal period begins: May 27, 2021
Image submittal period ends: Midnight, June 10, 2021
Members notified of acceptance of images: June 30, 2021
Show starting date, drop off photos: 10 AM to 10:30 AM, August 1, 2021
Show ends: August 30, 2021
