As I mentioned at the Capture Sig meeting, I planned to test using my Christmas tree, to see how to get a BOKEH effect when shooting subjects where this effect is desired. I tested using four different lens’s. I used different apertures for each lens and basically used manual setups for each shot. I have done minimal post processing and the final images have been sent to a Lightroom Catalog should the opportunity be available to present these results at the next Sig meeting. I was a little surprised at how things turned out and think, with the four lens’s, all of the members should find at least one that meets how he or she shoots. Should Spike or Alan see time, I will come prepared to do this presentation. .
