Spontaneous photo outing: Sunrise and Turks Cap Lilies on the Blue Ridge Parkway
      Wednesday, July 14, 5:15 AM – 11:00 or 12:00
We will shoot a sunrise along the Blue Ridge parkway, probably at North Fork Overlook. Date/Time – Wednesday, July 14. We will meet at the Bi-Lo parking lot and leave at 5:15 AM.

Description – We’ll shoot the sunrise at North Fork Overlook on the parkway, run up for a restroom stop at Graveyard Fields, and then take the Parkway a little past Pisgah Inn to an area that usually has abundant turk’s cap lilies. We will photograph the turk’s caops and be back to Bi-Lo between 11:00 and Noon, most likely.
Directions – The Bi-Lo is empty now, but located at Forest gate shopping center. We will be on the side of the Bi-Lo near the Pizza Inn.
To Participate – Respond here or email Alan Hunt at alan_hunt@comporium.net.

Level of Difficulty – Easy. There is a quarter to half mile walk along a mostly flat trail to get to the turk’s caps.
