Hi all, thank you immensely for helping me to further contemplate what I’ve learned about photography over my 8 year journey – it was quite eye opening! Thank you too for allowing me to break protocol & not bring images.
So, I do have an image that is eluding/haunting me. It’s of these amazing grasses in the Bonsai Garden at the Arboretum illuminated by the winter lights. In hindsight, perhaps I was closer to the capture than I expected at the time? My favorite part is the little blue “whispies” against the darkness. Do you think just shooting lower would help? I’ll be back tomorrow volunteering, so I’m hoping for a better approach…and inspiration to use the real camera.
